Meet Jeff Smith, nicknamed “The Silencer”, Canada’s rising star on the International dart stage. Jeff picked up the game of darts when he was just 3 years old with help from his grandfather. He first began playing at the provincial level in 1990 as a youth player and was a member of the New Brunswick team for the next five years.

Fast forward to 2011, when Jeff entered the Professional Darts Corporation Q school in January 2011. He won a PDC tour card and took part in the 2013 PDC World Cup of Darts with John Part.

In 2014, Jeff won the Halifax Open and the Canadian Open. He qualified for the 2015 BDO World Darts Championship and reached the semi-final of the Lakeside World Championships on his first attempt.

Jeff has gone on to play in numerous International tournaments ever since including playing his idol Phil Taylor at the Grand Slam of Darts in 2016 and Jeff is most certainly one to watch in 2017. British Darts is proud to sponsor Jeff and carry his exclusively designed darts in both steel tip and soft tip.
